God who is liked by all and who dwells in pāṇṭikkotumuṭi on the bank of the Kāviri where the fertile gardens are close to one another and beautifully situated, and where the young girls who are like soft garlands and have breasts like immature cocoanuts dive and bathe!
I meditated upon your feet only cherishing them with love.
all my acts got separated from me.

O Siva! O loved one! (/O loving one)! You dwell in the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'pANdik kodumudi\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' temple in the kaRaiyUr town situated on the bank of Kaveri river where beautiful tender breasted young girls bathe and surrounded by dense groves. I meditated on your floral feet with love. By Your grace, all my karma left me. Even if I were to forget you, my tongue will go on saying Your holy name \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'namaSSivaAya\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'.
Notes:
1) There is another version for the last 2 words in line-1 in some books: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"vinaigaLum viNdanan\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\". It does not change the overall meaning - as this phrase means \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"I got separated from my karma\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'.
2) The tem \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'virumban\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' can mean \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'loving one\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' or \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'loved one\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'.

Virgin girls with soft Palm drupe like breasts plunge and play in Cauvery river on banks of which fertile arbors
and groves thick add verdure to Paandikkodumudi. O, Lord Abider there,
dear to all, me thy servitor, thought
and thought on and on your lotus feet with pious ardour. Hence moss of dire deeds got removed.
Even if I tend to forget you henceforth, my tongue would chant thy holy name Namasivaya incessantly.
