Civaṉ has a interwoven caṭai which hangs low.
the place of the caivaṉ who is not the subject matter of the words which ignorant camaṇar and cākkēyar prate about him.
the young girls and the youth who crowd in the gardens which has plenty of red-coloured arabian jasmine, bathe in the tanks.
my tongue!
sing the greatness of pacupati īccaram in āvūr where (they) practise songs in praise of Civaṉ with concentration and without distraction from outside things.

Sing my tongue, sing may you Aavoor Pacupateeccaram of the Lord
With plaited low locks whose abode, the prattling samanas
And sakkias little know; there young maidens and lads
Dip in spas, deliberate and hymn unswervingly
Lord\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s glory in arbors full of russet blooms.
