addressing Āraṇiya vitaṅkar in Paiññīli surrounded by fields in which swans flock
the words expressing love wishing it by many young ladies whose waists are as slender as the lightning that flashes across the sky.
remembering the ten verses that came from the mouth of Vaṉṟoṇtaṉ a native of Nāvalur which has undying ancient fame.
those who will sing with sweet music will reach ultimately the red feet of Civaṉ, the husband of Umai.

Flashing thin waist dames love the Lord the Fairest of Paigneeli girt by fields with swans; they expressed
their love in erotic wordage from outstanding Naavaloor where is born this violent servitor who hath voiced
these verses as well composed ten; which if heartily memorized and rendered in sweet passion
of tunes proper, sure would reach they, and attain the holy feet of Siva, the spouse of goddess Uma.
