Translation:

my mind!
desires the five sense organs will desire only those which they desired again and again, so that they will be destroyed detesting them.
rejoice refusing to satisfy desires, enmity and anger to perish.
the Lord who has Oṟṟiyūr as his place, punished by fixing his toe firmly to press down the arakkaṉ who has a chariot by name Putpakam;
putting up with his mischief and to make him perish and later granted his graces by giving him a sword, long life, and the title Irāvaṇaṉ.
