:ne'riyaar :nee'lkazhanmaen mudikaa'npari thaayavanae
se'rivaar maamathilsoozh thiruvaanmi yooru'raiyum
a'rivae yunnaiyallaa ladaiyaathena thaatharavae.

Translation:

Māl who sleeps on a bed of a serpent which has spots and Piramaṉ who is seated on a lotus flower.
Civaṉ whose feet wearing long Kaḻal with curves and the head which could not be seen beyond the heaven by both those!
the embodiment of knowledge which dwells in tiruvāṉmiyūr surrounded by great walls of fortification which are thick.
